About Villages Area Jobs
Villages Area Jobs collects openings from employers in The Villages and the towns around it, so you can search by how far you are willing to drive instead of by city name. Every job shows a rough drive time from the middle of The Villages: about 15 minutes or less, about 15 to 30 minutes, or about 30 to 45 minutes.
The jobs come from employers' own career sites and hiring feeds, from school and government postings, and from local businesses. Large employers such as hospitals, retailers, and banks sit next to small shops and restaurants that rarely show up on national job boards. New listings are added every day, and jobs that disappear from an employer's site are removed.
The Villages is an unusual job market. A 2024 News 13 report put its population above 140,000, most of them retired, so many jobs serve residents: healthcare, retail, restaurants, golf, and recreation. The same report said the Villages and Wildwood area had the fastest growth in children ages 0 to 14 in the country in 2023, which is also drawing younger workers and families.
