Villages Area Jobs is a local job board for The Villages, Florida and nearby communities. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect and what we do with it.

Job seekers

You can browse every job on this site without an account and without giving us any personal information.

When you apply to a job through our application form, we collect the name, email, phone number, message, and resume you provide and send them to the employer who posted the job. We keep a copy so the employer can also see it in their dashboard. Resumes are stored privately and are never public. Applications are deleted after one year and resumes after 90 days.

Employers

We count visits anonymously (page viewed, where the visit came from, phone or computer, and Apply clicks) to see how the site is used. We don't store your name, email or IP address for this, and the random visit ID resets every day.

When you create a business account, we collect your name, email, business name, business address, and a proof link (your website, Google Business Profile, or Facebook business page). We use this only to verify your business and run your account. We never sell it or share it with anyone else.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not share your information with third parties except the email service that delivers messages on our behalf.
