Waste Connections is looking for motivated, safety‑driven individuals to join our team at the Ocala Express Hauling location as a Dispatcher . Schedule

+ Monday–Friday

+ Start time: 5:00 AM

+ Typically 10-hour workdays (45–50 hours/week)

Pay

+ Competitive Pay Based on experience

+ Overtime available

Duties & Responsibilities

+ Work with Operations and Customer Service to resolve service concerns

+ Analyze and resolve issues such as missed pickups, misplaced containers, or property matters

+ Provide drivers with support and clarification for pickups and deliveries

+ Schedule and dispatch work to drivers throughout the day

+ Utilize Waste Connections proprietary software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

+ Maintain positive customer interactions and promote goodwill

+ Perform in a high‑volume, fast‑paced call environment

+ Upsell additional services when applicable

Minimum Job Requirements

+ High school diploma or GED required

+ 2+ years dispatch experience in transportation/logistics preferred

+ Strong typing and computer skills

+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite

+ Strong verbal and written communication

+ Excellent organization, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
