MA Therapist - Reg Intern | Community Action Team

Job Purpose:

• The MA Therapist - Reg Intern at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. The role is designed to support the mental health and well-being of clients by delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and contributing to a supportive and healing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs of clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Assist in crisis intervention and management, providing immediate support and guidance to clients in distress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of mental health therapy.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all clients, promoting their autonomy and empowerment.
