MS Therapist - Reg. Intern | Adolescent Trauma Treatment Services

Job Purpose:

• The MS Therapist - Registered Intern is responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. The role involves assisting clients with mental health issues by using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support their emotional and psychological well-being. The intern will gain valuable experience in a clinical setting, contributing to the overall mission of the center to improve the lives of individuals and families through compassionate care and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and assist in developing individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Assist in crisis intervention and management as needed.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions and documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices and research.
