Pharmacist | World Equestrian Center | Ocala | Part-Time

Overview

The pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients of UF Health Shands Hospital and University of Florida Clinics. This position requires professional judgment in reviewing and evaluating medication orders for ambulatory patients. The pharmacy operates as both an outpatient community pharmacy and a compounding pharmacy, providing prescription services and customized medication preparations to meet patients' individual needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.

• Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting

• Knowledge of insurance processes and requirements.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with computers and ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.

• Knowledge or experience in a specialized clinical practice area.

• Compounding experience

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Must be a licensed Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida.

Motor Vehicle Requirements

• This position does not require operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
