Full-Time Phlebotomist - Join Our Fast-Paced Lady Lake Lab Team!
SIMEDHealth's Lady Lake laboratory is seeking an energetic and skilled Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our high-volume team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our laboratory, directly interacting with patients to collect specimens with accuracy and care. Your ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service is essential in our busy setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
+ Performing venipuncture on patients with precision and care.
+ Collecting urine samples according to established protocols.
+ Conducting drug screens accurately.
+ Efficiently entering patient information into our computer system.
+ Ensuring the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
+ Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions.
+ Performing various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying.
+ Adhering to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring:
+ High School diploma or equivalency.
+ Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program.
+ Previous experience with electronic health records.
+ 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred).
+ Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
+ Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ A commitment to safety and accuracy.
