💵 Pay: $23+ per hour (based on experience)

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays

Position Overview

Waste Connections is seeking safety‑focused Residential Rear‑Load Garbage Truck Drivers who take pride in hard work, teamwork, and career growth. This is a driver‑to‑driver position that requires both driving and riding on the back of the truck while servicing residential neighborhoods.

Safety is our #1 value. Candidates must be comfortable working in active residential areas, performing physical labor, and following strict safety procedures throughout the route.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate a residential rear‑load garbage truck on assigned routes

+ Ride on the back of the truck between stops while servicing residential areas

+ Repeatedly climb on and off the truck throughout the shift

+ Lift, pull, and empty residential trash containers

+ Perform heavy physical labor for the duration of the route

+ Safely and courteously interact with customers in residential neighborhoods

+ Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and route procedures

+ Work outdoors in all weather conditions

+ Assist driving partner to complete routes safely and efficiently

Job Requirements

+ ✅ Valid CDL required

+ ✅ Minimum 2 years of work experience , with a stable work history

+ ✅ Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day

+ ✅ Able and willing to ride on the back of the truck during residential collections

+ ✅ Comfortable with frequent climbing on and off the truck

+ ✅ Willing to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other conditions

+ ✅ Able to work long shifts (50–60 hours per week)

+ ✅ Residential Rear‑Load or Front‑Load driving experience is a PLUS
