RN Supervisor (Days) | Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital

Job Purpose:

• The Registered Nurse Supervisor in Psychiatric care oversees nursing staff and ensures the delivery of high-quality consumer care within a behavioral health facility. This role involves managing clinical operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
• Must have a functional knowledge of the Baker and Marchman Acts.
• Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician
• Advises Nurse Administrator(s) in matters of concern to nursing care and consumer needs.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards in mental health
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Address consumer and family concerns and facilitate communication.
