VP - Building Services

Job Purpose:

• The Vice President of Building Services at Lifestream Behavioral Center is responsible for overseeing and managing the facility's infrastructure and maintenance operations. This role ensures that all building systems and services are functioning efficiently and effectively to support the center's mission of providing quality behavioral health services. The VP will lead strategic planning for facility management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing the use of resources to enhance the center's operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for building services that align with the center's overall objectives and mission.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally.
• Lead and manage a team of building services professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs and ensure that building services contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the center's operations.
• Manage budgets for building services, monitoring expenditures and optimizing resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized services, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards and within budget.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for building services, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of building services.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of building services, including performance metrics, budget updates, and strategic recommendations.
