Golf, Recreation & Hospitality jobs near The Villages

With more than 50 golf courses, a recreation center in every village, plus pro shops, country clubs and hospitality venues, golf and recreation is one of the steadiest sources of work in the area. Starters, rangers, cart attendants, pro shop clerks, front desk staff, event coordinators and guest ambassadors all keep things running. Openings listed here right now: 27.

The pace is friendly and social, and a lot of the work happens outdoors. Golf shifts often start early, sometimes around sunrise, and many jobs wrap up by early afternoon. That works well for people who like mornings and want the rest of the day free. Winter and spring are the busiest months when seasonal residents are in town. Summer is slower, and heat and afternoon storms are part of the job.

You do not need to be a golfer to work here, though it helps to enjoy being around people who are. Some employers offer perks like golf discounts, so ask about them. Top employers hiring right now include BrightView, World Equestrian Center, Walmart, The Villages Entertainment and Cardinal Glass Industries. Many venues sit inside large communities or complexes, so ask where to park and check in on your first day.
